Attributed to Eliza Robbins (1786-1856), b. Milton, Mass.; d. Cambridge, Mass. She published a number of books for children, mostly educational for young readers. Her papers and correspondence are held by the Hollis Library at Harvard. They indicate her interest in the Christian faith, prison reform, and the abolitionist movement.
