Elizabeth McFarland (1780-1838), b. Boston, Mass.; d. Concord, N. H. She was the wife of the Rev. Asa McFarland, the pastor of the Congregational Church in Concord. She taught Sunday School and was involved with several charitable societies. The basis of her Memoir is the diary that she wrote between the ages of 21 and 48, her letters, and the recollections of her two daughters.
