Charles Stoddard (1802-1873), b. Northampton, MA; d. Boston, MA. A Boston merchant of marked industry and piety, Stoddard was an active Christian in Sunday School teaching and a supporter of the A. B. C. F. M. He was a trustee of Williams College, and with Williams President Mark Hopkins and Prof. Albert Hopkins, was one of the three principal men to establish the Mission Park and Haystack Prayer Meeting memorial.
