Frank Owen Emerson (1876-1952), b. near Brookville, Nebraska; d. Tecumseh, Nebraska. He was educated at Park College, Parkville, Missouri and at Auburn Seminary in upstate New York. He was appointed a missionary with the PCUSA and sailed for Cameroun in October, 1909.

This autobiography is an account of his missionary work from 1909 until his retirement in 1943.
