"This work has been thoroughly revised, in accordance with the changes that have occurred in the statutes since the previous issue, and much new matter of importance has been added. Not the least valuable, we apprehend, are the more recent decisions of the Supreme Courts of this State and Massachusetts, touching the various duties and rights of town officers and citizens." - Preface.
