Samuel Gover Winchester (1805-1841), born at Rock Run, MD; died at Natchz, MS. "…pastor of the Sixth Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, 1830 to 1837, and pastor of a congregation at Natchez, Miss., from 1838 until his death, Aug. 31, 1841" - Allibone.
"He received a good academical training; began the study of law, but afterwards studied theology in the Theological Seminary at Princeton, N.
