Twenty pages of this volume treats with landscaping, with color plans and plates. It is called Rural Homes and Surroundings, by Co. E. C. Frost, of Seneca Lake Highland Nurseries, in Watkins, N. Y. There are two folding hand-colored plates of grounds plans, and nineteen hand-colored plates of trees and flowers.

This is followed by an article written by Winslow C. Watxon, Forests - Their Influence, Uses and Reproduction. Also, Training, Pruning and Improving Grapes, by S. J. Parker of Ithaca, with b/w full-page illustrations of grapes. This article includes b/w illustrations on pruning.

Included also are the many agricultural reports from the state and the counties, including a section on cheese-making.
