Thomas Wright (1810-1877), English antiquarian and scholar, one of the founders of the British Archaeological Association, and the Percy, Camden, and Shakespeare Societies. In addition to his literary pursuits of antiquarian literature, he also oversaw several excavations of Roman towns in England.
