This is an abridgement of the author's earlier work, which was larger in size and over 600 pages in length, covering the period of the beginnings of Presbyterianism in the Dominion of Canada down to the year 1834. This present book begins with the Huguenots in France and their emigration to Canada. It treats with the Presbyterian Church, in all of its forms from about 1715 to 1892.
