"The Hymn-Book printed in the year 1801, for the use of the Protestant Church of the United Brethren being out of print, a new edition is now published." - Preface.
The Liturgy of the church is printed in the introductory material of 24 pages. There are 1200 hymns with a very detailed index, words only, no music. The last leaf is "Table of Tunes" on one side, and the publisher's catalogue on the other. The Table of Tunes has this note: "The numbers of the Tunes correspond with those in the Tune Book, in use in the Congregations of the Brethren."
With a signed provenance card from the music collection of A. Merril Smoak, Jr., DWS.
