John Clyde Oswald (1872-1938), president of the National Arts Club and the publisher and editor of The American Printer Magazine and of The Business World. As an author he wrote Printing in the Americas; as a collector he amassed a library of works by and relating to Benjamin Franklin and was a noted authority on Franklin and his works. He organized and was the first president of the International Benjamin Franklin Society. He served as board member, trustee, and director of many literary, art, and publishing associations.
